I can’t believe it’s the last day of July.

July is my very favorite month (my birthday is in July), but also because I liive in NJ, and it’s green, and beach time and no school, and there’s still more summer ahead, so I’m always sad when August is upon us.

You can imagine my sorrow when it’s September, and by October the only thing that keeps me from being really, really sad is all the pretty colors. November would have me suicidal except that it’s time to start thinking about Christmas, and of course December is just full of fun, and by then I’ve resigned myself to the fact that summer is, in fact, really gone.

January and February are to be endured, hopefully with jaunts to Florida for relief, and March is just a mess–no redeeming features, the likelihood of snow still possible and I’m SO over it, with wind to boot. April is generally disappointing because although the daffodils are out all over, it’s too freakin’ cold out to enjoy it.

When May finally arrives I start to breathe again, totally eating up the warmer days. June is “ahhh,” warm and time to look forward to…JULY! I live the whole year for July.
