NASHVILLE WAS A BLAST
Every year my husband and I meet dear old friends of ours at a different U.S. location. We’ve met in NJ, Orlando FL (twice) Dallas TX, Wichita, KS (twice) and now Nashville. These friends moved away in 2002, so our annual tradition keeps our friendship alive and gives us a fun vacation all in one.
The hard part is after we get back–there’s another whole year to keep up our friendship going from a distance. It takes work but it’s so worthwhile when we get back together again (next year we’re considering Gatlinburg) and we can pick up where we left off.
I find anything worthwhile takes work, but when I do it I’m so grateful that I did. What do you need to work at to achieve the benefit you are longing for? A friendship? A new career? A home project? Your bookkeeping? (C’mon, I had to get it in somewhere…)
Why not start today?
